Grateful to Run in 2015

Meg Cross Menzies was struck and killed by a motorist while jogging on January 13, 2014.  Since that day, inspired by her legacy, I, along with a large running community from around the world, have deepened my commitment to living a more Christ-centered and healthier lifestyle.

On January 13, 2014, a motorist hit and killed Meg Menzies while she was running with her husband - my friend - Scott Menzies. In the aftermath of her death, a large group of people has been inspired by her legacy. They meet online daily on the Megsmiles Supporters Facebook Page where they share in Megs passion for running, her love for family and friends, and her Christian faith. Late last year, thanks to this group, I caught the running bug. On November 15th, 2014, I ran my first half marathon. This year, I am committed to making running an even bigger part of my goal to live a healthier lifestyle. To help keep me on target, I'm using this page to track my running and other fitness goals throughout 2015.
