Ian warmed up for the day with a little sand surfing aerobics on the beach.
Then both the boys inched there way into the 40ft waves that were crashing the shore.
Elliott’s proudest moment of the week – floating for the first time without his life preserver. He took Katie’s instruction to take in a big breath very seriously.
I’d like to thank my mom for teaching me how to float, and all those who have supported my training along the way. Most of all, I thank you Mr. Boat. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. Literally.
Elliott, I can’t believe you’re holding that thing.
Time to go home little buddy.
Elliott decides to spend a little time with the old men’s club. Seeking wisdom I’m sure.
Ian, of course, considers himself to be plenty wise already.
On the boat ride in, we were all impressed by the size of the boats. That is until Ian informed us he had one of these at his barn. Of course.
