Machine Gun Photography

There is no question that my wife is the photographer in the family.  One of the main reasons is because we go about it quite differently.  Katie has something in her mind and imagination before she ever hits the button to capture an image.  Me, on the other hand, I just start wildly swinging and pointing the camera, hitting the button as fast as it will allow me to push it and still capture pictures, and then excitedly load the pictures on my computer later on to take a look at what I got.  I call it machine gun photography.  Point and spray.  Figure out what I was trying to capture after I captured it.  

I end up with surprises like these:
