Summer has arrived.

Elliott and I have been trying to include Ian in more of our field day games.  There are days he doesn't seem to understand the object of the game.

Other days he knows exactly what's going on.

"He's in there dad - he's in there."

We took our first trip of the summer to Kings Dominion.  Elliott is an old pro at most of the rides and he had a good time showing Ian the ropes.

And it didn't take Ian long before he knew exactly what to do.

"Really Elliott, the bell is the best part of the ride, steering wheels are boring."

Last year Elliott wouldn't go near the merry-go-round.  It was one of the first things he wanted to do this year.  The roller coaster can't be far away.

The roughest ride of the day was the walk to the car.  There was only one survivor, and only long enough to snap this picture.

Elliott - it is customary to where a shirt until your ribs disappear.
